It’s too bad they only allow 5 stars fro the rating because I would give this company 10 if it were possible. I bought the “Fierce Fire” from Ingalls Creek and I have to say at first with some difficulty as the website kicked back an error with my address, however I immediately contacted Eric who responded within a couple minutes and solved the problem for me (Outstanding Customer Service) he then proceeded to fill my order and send me a sample of another product along with my order (The Tinder Torch). Both products are first rate and do everything the video claims, I couldn’t be happier with them or the service I received from Ingalls Creek, I highly recommend both this company and their products. This is a very curious product, goes up in flames with one strike from a ferro rod..carves like butter an smells amazing. This is wood that has had some alteration to change its consistency, so that it will virtually crumble in your fingers but still has enough sustenance to be shaved into curls. A truly unusual product an fun to use!

I’m not sure what Eric has done to this wood and I dont want to know. All I do know is this is the best fire starting material I have ever used. Forget all the gimmicky products and self made starters (Vaseline and cottonballs). This out does all of them. I literally use the saw in my leatherman to cut off about an inch off of a stick. Then break it down with my fingers and strike it with my ferro rod. Yes, it’s that easy. This stuff burns forever and at such a high temperature it is basically full proof. If you spend any time in the outdoors, have a fireplace, or just want a great fire starter for emergencies, this is the product to get.

I saw the Fierce Fire product on Feral Woodcraft’s youtube channel in early October. I was immediately impressed, and came to the website and ordered a bag. Since then I’ve been finding new and different ways to start a fire with this awesome product. Also, Eric the owner has a video on YouTube showing the different ways Fierce Fire can be used. I’ll be ordering more, and you should also.

This stuff is great. Very flammable and you don’t need very much if you have your kindling prepared already. Chunks have a nice burn time. Easy to break up and shred down without any tools. You can shove some in tiny places in corners of kits and make sure all of your fire starting kits have some. You might want to use a base and keep it in a bag so you don’t lose any of it so you can use every little piece for your fire. You won’t be disappointed in relying on Fierce Fire or on Tinder Torch. Eric is a great guy and has amazing customer service. Prices are great and all this is handmade. Try it out 😉

Great product once again. sorry it took so long to review but I wanted to really try it out first. Ingalls creek never let me down. This stuff is amazing, taking a spark on the first try, and you can pull it apart with your fingers and just put a small amount in your tinder bundle and you will have no problem with fire. Thanks once again

Finally was able to buy 2 packages of this product. It works really well. Shipping was extremely fast. The product works amazing. I’ve only tested it it in rain and snow so far and it catches a spark easily and fires up like gasoline.
