Available in unwaxed, cedar paraffin, or beeswax coatings, and with, or without a dangler grommet. Add the dangler grommet, to allow you to attach the dangler kit (sold separately here) to your bag and add a ton of versatility to your Tinder Ruck, allowing you to quickly and easily hang the bag from your belt, and put it away, just as quickly. The belt clip will go right in the bag and cinch shut while leaving the ring exposed to hang your bag up at camp or to a carabiner on your pack!
The beeswax infused bags offer the most natural waxing material known to man. It’s more tacky and rigid than the cedar paraffin. Due to this extra rigidity, you gain slightly better water resistance and the feeling of having something more natural if left in direct contact with food.
The cedar paraffin waxed bags offers a more old fashioned and rustic feeling to the bag, being not nearly as tacky as the beeswax. Where you lose out on water resistance, you gain ground on repelling pests from the bag. Paraffin is not my recommended choice as a food container coating, as it is not natural, but this is only our opinion. Paraffin is sold and traded as a non-toxic wax, so either way you can’t go wrong!
